About Us
Care shaped with you, not for you
Lux Psychiatry
About Lux Psychiatry
At Lux Psychiatry, care is unhurried, thoughtful, and collaborative. We take time to listen carefully, understand context, and make decisions together. Treatment plans are shaped around the individual, not a preset model or algorithm.
Our practice provides evidence-based outpatient psychiatric medication management across the lifespan, with care available for children, adolescents, and adults. We aim to create a space where patients feel heard, respected, and supported in making informed choices about their mental health.
Lux Psychiatry
Our Approach
Care at Lux Psychiatry is intentional and individualized. We consider the full picture including symptoms, medical history, life circumstances, and patient preferences before making recommendations. Options are discussed openly, and treatment decisions are made collaboratively. Many appointments include brief therapeutic support alongside medication management. This allows time for reflection, problem-solving, and thoughtful planning, while keeping the focus on psychiatric care.

Our Clinician
Olivia Grayson, MSN, PMHNP-BC is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Metropolitan State University and completed her post-master's Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certificate at the University of Cincinnati.
Olivia provides psychiatric care across the lifespan, including children starting at age 8, adolescents, and adults. Her approach is collaborative and thoughtful, with an emphasis on understanding each patient's unique context before making treatment decisions. Patients are offered clear options, with careful discussion of benefits and risks, so they can participate meaningfully in their care.
She has experience treating mood disorders, anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, bipolar disorder, and ADHD. Her work is grounded in evidence-based practice, clinical judgment, and a belief that effective psychiatric care requires both expertise and time.
Care is best suited for patients who are stable enough for outpatient treatment and interested in collaborative, longitudinal care. If a different level of care or specialized services are needed, we help guide patients toward appropriate resources.
